Yana Grigoryeva M.A., BCBA, LBA
Yana Grigoryeva, MA, BCBA, LBA, is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst that became a part of Strong Foundations' clinical team in the summer of 2019. Yana graduated from Salve Regina University with her MA in Applied Behavior Analysis and has had over five years of experience working with children of varying diagnoses. Yana's primary experience has been with children diagnosed with Autism, ranging in ages from 2.5 to 16 years old. Over the years, Yana has worked in center-based, school-based, and home-based settings. She conducted assessments, developed behavior and skill acquisition plans, conducted parent training, and facilitated social skills training. Although, her passion lies with activities of daily living, functional communication, and promoting student's independence.
Yana enjoys being an active participant in the field of ABA and currently serves as President-Elect with the Rhode Island Association for Behavior Analysis (RIABA). Yana's passion for research allowed her to present Teaching Eye Gaze Tracking to Children with Autism at the 2019 ABAI Annual Autism Conference. Additionally, Yana is currently working as a research assistant in the clinical psychology department at Yale University in a lab that focuses on possible correlations between environmental variables and risk-taking behaviors. In her free time, Yana enjoys building architectural Lego sets, playing video games, drawing, and going to Renaissance fairs.
