Jaime O’Karma MSEd, BCBA, LBA, joined the team at Strong Foundations as a Behavior Analyst in the summer of 2019. She received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2008. It was during this coursework where she had her first experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis as an intern at the May Center for Child Development. She continued to work as an ABA therapist at the May Center as she went on to pursue a Master’s degree in Special Education.
Throughout her career, Jaime has worked with individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities (ages 2-22) in a variety of settings, including private and public schools, as well as in-home services. She completed her coursework in the area of Applied Behavior Analysis at Westfield University in 2018 and continues to work as a special educator in a nearby middle school.
When she is not teaching or working at Strong, Jaime is a high school Unified Sports® coach. She enjoys traveling, playing the piano, and hiking with her dog, Miss Jackson.
