Responsibilities:
- Prepare all documentation / assessments in a timely manner
- Maintain individual session notes and data on SLP goals and objectives
- Work with direct care staff and parents on caring over communicative strategies to home and community settings.
- Identification and treatment of children for (but not limited to) speech, autism spectrum disorders, dysphagia, cognition and voice
- Work with and program for non-verbal individuals accessing augmentative communication devices ( low / high tech)
- Maintain a consistent part-time work schedule including all appointments and meetings
- Solid work history
Requirements:
- Licensed Speech Therapist in the State of Connecticut- in good standing
- Professional Educator Certified in the State of Connecticut
- CCC required
- ASHA certified
