Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP)

Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare all documentation / assessments in a timely manner
  • Maintain individual session notes and data on SLP goals and objectives
  • Work with direct care staff and parents on caring over communicative strategies to home and community settings.
  • Identification and treatment of children for (but not limited to) speech, autism spectrum disorders, dysphagia, cognition and voice
  • Work with and program for non-verbal individuals accessing augmentative communication devices ( low / high tech)
  • Maintain a consistent part-time work schedule including all appointments and meetings
  • Solid work history

Requirements:

  • Licensed Speech Therapist in the State of Connecticut- in good standing
  • Professional Educator Certified in the State of Connecticut
  • CCC required
  • ASHA certified
