ABA Therapist / Behavior Technician (RBT)

Part-time and Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Proving ABA services to children with autism and related disorders
  • Implementation of Behavior Plans and Strategies
  • Implementation of Discrete Trial Training and individualized programming including: social skills, daily living/ self-help skills and communication skills
  • Graphing and maintaining daily data collection
  • Knowledge of PECS and ABA standards is preferred
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Center-based ABA services
  • Part-Time position
  • After-school hours and weekends

Requirements:

  • 1 year experience working with children 2 - 12 years old with autism or related disorders in an ABA Program is preferred
  • Associate’s Degree; Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
  • Dedicated to improving the overall quality of life for children affected by autism
  • Takes initiative and comfortable working in a 1:1 setting
  • Punctual, effective communication, and reliable
  • Strong organizational skills with good attention to detail
  • Maintains professionalism with children and staff
  • Accurate data collection while conducting sessions
