Brianna Johnson is a Head Preschool Teacher at Strong Foundations. She received her Bachelor of Art from the University of Connecticut (Go Huskies!) in Human Development and Family Studies in 2009. Brianna recently completed the coursework towards her BCaBA through the University of North Texas and is currently finishing her supervision requirements.
Brianna began her career and love for ABA at the New England Center for Children in Framingham, MA. Since then, she has worked for almost ten years with children all over Connecticut, in multiple settings, such as in-home programs, community-based learning, and supporting public schools.
Brianna has worked with a variety of individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders, attention deficit disorders, social/emotional disorders, and general behavior challenges. Brianna has developed and implemented functional behavior assessments and corresponding plans, academic programming, and social skill programs for many students ranging from preschool to high school ages.
Brianna is devoted to the belief that Applied Behavior Analysis and its systematic approach can not only be beneficial to all young learners but to their continued success throughout their whole lives.
Outside of work, Brianna and her husband recently rescued a Labrador mix puppy named Bennett. He is the cutest puppy you will ever meet, and he knows it! When they’re not being bossed around by Bennett, they enjoy spending time with family and friends, especially while cheering on the Yankees and Giants!
